Kathryn Sikkink, the Ryan Family Professor of Human Rights Policy at Harvard Kennedy School, received an honorary Doctorate of Philosophy from the Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg on June 6, 2023 to honor her outstanding research on human rights.
